Gardening Services

Johnson Building and Gardening Services offer a range of building and gardening services to all types of customers, but specialise in offering the affordable weekly, fortnightly or even monthly maintenance to those people who don't possess the understandable skills to tend and properly nurture their choice of, flowers, plants, trees and shrubs that make up the constitution of their gardens. Or simply those people who lead such busy lives they don't have the time to nurture their outdoor space but need the escape when returning home.

We offer a special rate for pensioners, which, means they can still enjoy this service and it will not break their bank even if it's only one hour a month.

The services we offer are:-
General tidying work
Lawn Mowing
Planting and Advice
Pruning /Weeding
Sale and Delivery Service of Flowers, Plants, Shrubs, Hanging Baskets etc.
Hedge Trimming

Building Services

This section of the company is managed by Paul our Construction Engineer, he has worked for some of the largest names in the business such as Henry Boot construction and Gleeson's of Sheffield but prefers to work on small ventures in the domestic market nowadays. This neatly, amalgamates, with the other sides to our business and allows us a certain amount of flexibility when organising the logistics of the business as on entity.

Having worked on many local authority and county council contracts he understands the needs of the Professional customer, and carries this side of the business on to the domestic market. Health, safety and integrity are never areas for compromise in our business, we believe stipulated by, regulations and ethical, quality working practises should never be broken.

George, Joanne's father, is in charge of the areas such as kitchen, bathroom and bedroom work and is regarded as a perfectionist. His work has even been documented by an amateur film maker whilst carrying out work on a customer's bathroom. You only have to have a conversation with George to appreciate his understanding of quality and working with fine tolerances.

Lee, Joanne's younger brother, is a Corgi Register plumber and Heating engineer and compliments the team to give us specialist understanding in virtually every area of our business with the exception of Electrical work which is usually subcontracted to a local electrician we have a reliable and good relationship with.

What is a Garden?

We believe a garden is a space for an individual to relax and feel at one with Mother Nature an area of complete serenity where one can escape the harshness of our working lives and leave the stresses of day to day behind.
It is bringing the countryside to our own personal space without the need to travel. These gardens are also a reflection, of our inner soul, our, personality, somewhere we can find a little peace and spend time with our own thoughts.
Also somewhere we can entertain and feel comfortable in the company of our friends and acquaintances, those people we invite into our personal space when relaxing.

With al human beings being different we see a vast array of ideas when creating someone's garden.
